Danish Fishing Equipment Group was founded in 1976 and consists of about 75 members, specialising in machinery, equipment and products for the international fishing industry.

Denmark’s fishery tradition is over 1000 years old. Throughout the years, intensive research and development in methods and equipment has resulted in efficient, advantageous utilisation of fishing resources. As competition increases, still higher standards and approvals are demanded for fishing equipment, technology and cost-saving equipment. Every year, Danish companies invest considerable amounts of money in research and development for the fishing industry. So Danish factories are equipped with modern production machinery and employ effective quality control methods. The aim of the group is to boost export sales for its members by organising and launching export activities.
